Anyway, a happy Colombus Day to you all(despite the fact it was yesterday). Even if it was the Vikings who discovered America first, the guy did make Europe aware of a New World on another continent, an event which changed the course of world history... So it's little wonder he still gets a day even if he didn't technically 'discover' America.
